Sanjay Malhotra, M.D., ABPN (DIP), Founder and Chairman
Dr. Malhotra has over 20 years of expertise in Adult and Geriatric Psychiatry. He is a graduate of Maulana Azad Medical College in New Delhi, India and is Board Certified in General and Geriatric Psychiatry. He has been a dedicated physician serving in a multitude of medical and psychiatric capacities since starting his career, and has been awarded numerous designations including Medical Director, Chief of Psychiatry, and Coroner. He specializes in clinical program development and operations, staff training and development, quality improvement, and outcomes management. Dr. Malhotra is dedicated to providing comprehensive, high quality mental health services to his patients, caregivers, and families. His passion is the treatment of Alzheimer's disease and other dementias.
Jeff Jennings, M.S., Chief Executive Officer
Jeff Jennings is a longtime native of Alabama and holds a B.S. degree from Jacksonville State University and an M.S. degree from the University of Alabama in Birmingham. Jeff has more than 20 years of executive hospital experience, having served in senior leadership positions at hospitals in Tennessee, Texas, Georgia, Arkansas, and Alabama. Most recently, Mr. Jennings served as CEO at Shoals Hospital. Under his leadership, hospitals have scored in the 95th percentile or better in patient satisfaction as measured by Press Ganey and in the 99th percentile for employee satisfaction.
Timothy Whalen, M.D., Medical Director
Dr. Timothy Whalen is no stranger to the quad cities and was at the APS Florence office from 2006 to 2015. Before that, he worked for 10 years in private practice in Maryland and five years in public psychiatry serving the residents of coastal North Carolina. He finished his training in psychiatry at John Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore, Maryland, after completing medical school at Ohio State University. Dr. Whalen served his internship at Riverside Methodist Hospital in Columbus, Ohio in family practice. Dr. Timothy Whalen practices child, adolescent, and adult psychiatry in the Muscle Shoals office of IBH. He enjoys working with families and patients of all ages.
Katrina Matthews – Human Resources
Katrina Matthews is a North Alabama native and received her Bachelor of Science in Human Resource Management from Athens State University. Katrina has over 20 years of experience in HR and Business Administration with a demonstrated history of working in Hospital and Health Care Services, Federal Contracting and Non-Profit Organization Management Industry. Her professional experiences include executive level management, strategic program management, training/employee development, resource and budget forecasting, organizational development and employee relations.
Katrina Matthews – Human Resources
Hailing originally from Tuscaloosa, Alabama – Kelli Hardin, Integrated Behavioral Health’s Director of Credentialing, fell in love with Huntsville, Alabama the moment she first laid eyes on the impressive Saturn V during her college tours of Alabama. This led to her promptly enrolling and attending the University of Alabama in Huntsville where she majored in Biology with a minor in Computer Science. From there, she began her ten-year career in medical credentialing by cutting her teeth on locum tenens physicians through one of the largest physician staffing companies in the nation. She flourished in the field, and consequently she expanded her scope across the wide world of medical credentialing. From hospital credentialing to internal credentialing to state licensure credentialing to payor enrollment – you name it, she has done it. Driven by a passion to serve her community by ensuring that only the highest quality providers represent the distinguished Integrated Behavioral Health name, Kelli continues to strive to meet and exceed all expectations as she enters her fourth year of tenure here at Integrated Behavioral Health.
Quanza Bridgeforth – Director of Outpatient Clinics
Quanza Bridgeforth is a native of North Alabama and has more than fifteen years of experience in healthcare management. She joined Integrated Behavioral Health in 2014 as the office manager of our Decatur office and was promoted to Director of Outpatient Clinics in 2017. She now manages a staff of over twenty employees and coordinates all clinical operations for every Integrated Behavioral Health outpatient clinic, which includes Birmingham, Cullman, Decatur, Madison, and Muscle Shoals. Quanza is currently pursuing her Bachelor of Science in Health and Wellness Management from Athens State University.
Ron Mason – Director of Facility Services
Ron is a lifelong resident of Hartselle, Alabama. He has over 23 years of combined experience in both Medical and Mental Health Care settings, 12 of which were working in an Inpatient Senior Adult Mental Health program. Ron has been employed with Integrated Behavioral Health since 2014. He started his IBH career as an Office Manager and is currently our Director of Facility Services where he serves as the liaison between IBH and our 50+ contracted facilities.
